Every election is important, but especially when women’s jurisdiction over their own bodies is at stake. In this new large abstract painting of mine, we have a larger than life abstracted female form, asserting itself invincibly.  I kept thinking of that Helen Reddy song from back in 1971,”I am Woman Hear Me Roar in Numbers to Big to Ignore.”  This painted is large and textural– nothing smooth or subjugated here. It is expressed with true grit right through the core: woman strong and destined to be victorious.
