I have never been to Giverny, but I’ve spent my life taking photos of water like this, as anyone who knows me knows. These water vignettes are so abstract and lovely to me. The colors remind me of Monet, and I thought the title might help people know what they are looking at, although to me it is quite obvious.

This took a month of work. This textural, intricate surface was achieved in many overlapping layers, each risking the one below.
