This painting aims to capture that special kind of light in the forest during August, that shimmers against the dense depths. Looking closely there is a lot of printed texture here, that makes this work very diverse even though it utilizes an “all over” design motif. Also interesting, is the gold leaf effect that is especially pronounced in lower lighting conditions.
