First Day of Summer at the Quarry
$500.00
oil on archival panel
12″x16″
We love this quarry swimming hole and have spent lots of time there over the last couple decades. It is our escape from the summer heat, us five minutes from our home. It was a joy to paint this on site, accompanied by a couple plein air artist friends. The steep quarry rock faces are starting to get overgrown with vegetation, and the swimming association has brought in the sand.
